Grounds
The land along the Dyke Marsh is fertile and perfect for raising flowers or vegetables. Residency at River Towers includes your own garden plot.

- The private gardens are fenced in and behind a locked gate. Trespassers are rare, but the last perpetrator had a cotton-tail and long ears.
- You may prefer a dip in the pool.
- Bring your own sitting chair if you like to watch your garden grow.
- The walk back from the garden is almost as pleasant as the garden itself!
- Many units have balconies with views of the parks and Potomac.
- River Towers backs to the Dyke Marsh a National Wildlife Preserve.
- I enjoy watching the birds, turtles and fishes that gather at the canal.
